Eurecna, as implementing Partner within FWC SIEA 2018 Lot 3- Human Rights, Democracy and Peace, has successfully carried out the “Support to the Public Sector Improvement Reform Programme (PSIRP)” Project in Lesotho.
The five months long assignment comprised the design of a new Public Sector Improvement Reform Programme (PSIRP 2) to improve the performance of the public sector in Lesotho. The approach followed during project implementation was focused on the improvement of accountability, which is the main leverage to enforce the efficiency and effectiveness of public service on the practical level.
The new Programme was designed taking into account the need to improve accessibility, unity, good governance and transparency, with the aim of adding significant value to the governance system and service delivery.
