Eurecna, in consortium with Palladium, Flacso CR, Margenes and CCK, has been awarded the contract for Technical Assistance, Visibility and Communication Activities for ATEPECA project.
The purpose of the contract is to support the development, the monitoring and evaluation of the regional policies implemented by SICA (System for Central American Integration) and by the EU, ensuring that the focal sectors targeted by the Multiannual Indicative Programme (PIM) achieve the maximum results, impact and visibility.
The project has 3 main results:
- Strengthen the capacities in the formulation, execution and monitoring of SICA policies;
- Strengthen the capacities of the regional and national organizations in the implementation of the Association Agreement between the EU and Central America;
- Implement a comprehensive communication plan for the EU regional cooperation, in line with the global association between the EU and Central America.

The project is expected to start in August 2017 and will last 36 months.
