On 22 February 2016, in the framework of the project “Technical Assistance for Establishment of 3 Business Incubators in Selected Regions and Development of a Network among Incubators in Turkey”, Eurecna coordinated the organization of the international conference on Incubation models, held in Istanbul. The conference was opened by KOSGEB Director, Mr. Recep Bicer, by Mr. François Begeot, representative of the European Union in Turkey and by Mr. Ilker Murat Ar, General Director representing the Ministry of Science Industry and Technology.
The first panel discussed the legal framework for incubation; the second panel, focusing on incubation examples based on innovation support was opened by Eurecna Managing Director, Mario Costariol (see picture below), describing the Italian scenario and best practices. The following panel discussed examples of social entrepreneurship incubation while the last session of the conference was dedicated to the state of the art of incubation in Turkey and the future perspectives.
