On 1st July 2015, the Fourth Steering Committee for the EU-funded project “TA to support the Civil Service Reform in the West Bank and Gaza Strip” was held at the premises of the General Personnel Council (GPC) in Ramallah.
The meeting was opened by a speech of Mr. Moussa Abu Zeid, Chairman of GPC, thanking all the participants for the contribution to the project and positive accomplishments during the first 18 months of project implementation.
Ms. Labeuu and Ms. Abu Eid, representing the EU, also thanked the participants on behalf of Mr. Piccolo, Head of Operations and opened the discussions on the third interim report written by the TA team.
Mr. Abu Zeid gave a comprehensive presentation on the challenges and successes of the project, giving then the floor to Ms. Petersone, Team Leader of the TA team. Ms. Petersone described the activities implemented from December 2014 to May 2015 and gave an outlook on the second half of 2015 during which the Annual Conference on Civil Service Reform will take place as well as an ambitious training plan for GPC and Line Ministries.
