During the period April 4th – April 29th, in the framework of the project Access to Justice and Legal Education in The Gambia (A2J), the Civic Awareness Campaign was launched in the second pilot location, Kiang Kwinella in the Lower River Region (LRR). The field implementation of the Civic Awareness Campaign include activities like meetings with community leaders featuring music, theatre and talks by the local campaign implementers NCCE, ADRS, NALA and FLAG; mobile legal clinics and training of community leaders and of Law Enforcement Officers. A workshop for Alkalos Sensitization has also been implemented.
