Eurecna is proud to have been implementing the Youth Sounding Board Ethiopia Project since inception of YSB Ethiopia in 2020, providing support in the establishment of both the first and second cohorts. We are pleased to announce that two members of the Youth Sounding Board Ethiopia, Dr. Helina and Bereket, are representing the voice of Ethiopian youth at the Global Gateway High-Level Youth Event in Brussels, hosted by the European Commission.
The Global Gateway High-Level Youth Event is a pivotal platform where young people from the Youth Advisory Structures of the European Union converge to deliberate matters pertinent to youth in their respective countries and on the global stage.
During the event, they engaged in invaluable knowledge-sharing sessions with youth and members of other countries' Sounding Boards, discussing their accomplishments, challenges, and proposed solutions for the future. Additionally, Dr. Helina and Bereket are actively involved in refining the Empower Pillar of the Youth Recommendation.
